effectiveCapacity watches a fixed list of companies, labs, and university groups. It records the title, the outbound link, and a one-line note on why the item matters. It does not host papers, and it does not reprint journal text.

Brian owns the site and runs its operations and finance. The daily email goes out at 7:00 a.m. Eastern. On Fridays there is a second note, limited to filings, awards, and company news, about what actually moved.

Collectors use public APIs and newsroom feeds: arXiv quant-ph, a handful of journal RSS feeds (headline and link only), company and lab feeds, SEC EDGAR, NSF Award Search, and USAspending. An X list collector exists behind a feature flag and a hard monthly read cap. It is off. The site does not post to X.

There is no forum and no payment flow. Read the disclosure before you treat any of this as a reason to trade.
